The Reclaiming Appalachia Coalition has issued a Request for Proposals for AML mini-grants. The Coalition will award mini-grants to four projects on abandoned mine lands (AML) in Central Appalachia. The grant award will consist of $7,000 in start-up funds as well as 30 hours of project technical and planning assistance from Downstream Strategies. The grants are intended to provide resources and support to turn viable land reuse concepts into fundable projects. Applications are due May 1, 2020.
